Join JUFJers from across the region for the first installment in our Building Power Organizing Training. We'll learn the foundations of effective 1:1s and practice together from 7:00–8:15 PM, followed by 15 minutes of breakout time by jurisdiction to explore how 1:1s can strengthen your jurisdiction-specific local organizing.
Over 25 years ago, Jews United for Justice was founded to make change in the DC region. We have worked on campaigns for social, racial, and economic justice, and we have engaged a Jewish community that cares deeply about local issues. In 2025, for the first time, we are officially launching our organizing work in Northern Virginia. Join us at our campaign launch to be part of building this exciting new chapter in our ongoing work of thinking Jewishly and acting locally.

JUFJ is supporting multiple immigrant justice bills that have been introduced in the Virginia General Assembly's legislative session. Three of the bills, SB351, SB352, and SB783, are being heard at a committee hearing on Wednesday, January 28 in the Committee for Courts and Justice. Join Virginia JUFJers on Tuesday, January 27 on Zoom at 7 PM to prepare to testify virtually at the hearing in support of these critical bills.
