Join our October Housing Justice Working Group meeting in person or on Zoom for a special training with our partners at Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless on their Legal Monitor Program, filling an urgent need for volunteers to witness, document, and film law enforcement interactions with people experiencing poverty and homelessness. You don't have to be a lawyer to participate!

Join JUFJ to crack the code of community organizing, the path to a DC where we all thrive. In this workshop, we’ll learn about DC Home Rule, how to use our power to defend our communities, and how we can protect ourselves and each other through community action, mutual aid, and more.

Jews Against ICE Action with Truah and Bend the Arc
Smithsonian Metro Station (South Entrance) 1200 Independence Ave SW, WashingtonJewish clergy and community members will gather in near ICE headquarters to visibilize the growing, faith-rooted opposition to ICE’s cruel and unfounded immigration enforcement system. Grounded in core Jewish values, this action makes clear that there is broad Jewish communal consensus rejecting policies that dehumanize our neighbors. Through prayer, moral witness, and public testimony, participants will demonstrate that this system is a failure of both morality and policy – and that it does not have to be this way.
