The Reclaim Rent Control campaign is calling for the DC Council to use the upcoming reauthorization of our rent control laws as an opportunity to strengthen rent control. We must protect the affordable housing we already have and drastically increase the number of tenants protected by rent control—two things the current law doesn’t do nearly well enough. Come tell your story to our city leaders.

We'll also learn about the legislation currently in DC Council that is trying to do just that! Join us to talk about what folks who have race privilege can give up to move us all towards a more equitable city.
