Brooke is excited to join JUFJ as one of the current Avodah Corps Members. She is a recent graduate from Oberlin College where she studied Environmental Studies, Food Studies, and Studio Art. At Oberlin, she enjoyed her time planning holiday and ritual events with Jewish student groups on campus, as well as her time cooking and eating with her fellow co-op members. She has worked and learned at different Jewish Farms in the US, and is interested in how food justice, Jewish values, and ancient agricultural practices can lead the work. She is excited to follow this passion for Jewish social justice work in her new position at JUFJ, serving as a Maryland Community Organizer.

Originally from San Diego, CA, Brooke enjoys being near the water, playing soccer, screen printing, and dancing. She also loves talking about all things Jewish Time!
