JUFJ has a long history of organizing for workers rights; from Paid Sick days to Fair Wages, from Paid Family and Medical Leave to supporting striking workers. Building strong relationships with the Labor Movement while celebrating the rich interconnected history of Jews and Labor is a core plank of our work. And now we’re formalizing all of that into a new working group. 

You should join the Labor Justice and Workers Rights working group if;

• You care about workers’ rights, including issues like fair wages and paid family and medical leave,
• If you love events like Labor Seder and Labor on the Bimah and want to help make them happen, 
• Or if you want to build community with other Jews to show up to picket lines and support striking workers, then this is the group for you!

The Labor Group gathers monthly and alternates between meetings, actions and social events.
